FAQS
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
New patients can schedule an appointment online through our website or by phone. As this is your first visit, please select “Initial Assessment and Acupuncture” when booking your appointment. Upon arrival, you will complete a Patient Registration Form to provide your basic information. The doctor will then conduct a detailed consultation, assess your condition, and provide a personalized treatment plan. After treatment, we will also offer some health tips and recommendations. If needed, the follow-up appointment can be scheduled to monitor progress and adjust your care plan.
HOW DO I PARK MY CAR?
Street parking is available along the street. Parking is free for up to 2 hours on weekdays and free all day on weekends. Please also check posted signs for any restrictions, such as street cleaning schedules.
I DON’T HAVE MY INSURANCE CARD WITH ME, CAN I STILL RECEIVE TREATMENT?
Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine treatments can be covered by commercial insurance. Even if you do not have your insurance card with you, you can still make an appointment and receive treatment. After the treatment, you will need to make the payment upfront and then submit the receipt to the purchased insurance company for reimbursement.
DO YOU OFFER DIRECT BILLING?
At this time, we do not offer direct billing. An invoice will be provided after each visit, which you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
HOW IS MY TREATMENT FEE COMPOSED?
The treatment fees are determined by the sum of different medical procedures. For example, if acupuncture and cupping therapy are performed, the cost would be the acupuncture treatment fee plus the cupping treatment fee. Unless it is part of a package, such as the cost for initial diagnosis and treatment, which has separate regulations.
