DESCRIPTIONS：

 

Diagnose patient illnesses and minor injuries, such as allergies and musclestrains or sprains

Diagnose physiological disorders and injuries of patients

Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health and medical history todetermine appropriate treatment plans.

Treat the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients

Treat patients by administering, in chemical or herbal form, a small dosage of aremedy made from natural substances or by suggesting lifestyle changes

Treat patients by the insertion of acupuncture needles or through stimulationtechnique

Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance withestablished protocols.

Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance oncomplementary therapies.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance withmedical standards.Advise patients on the use of herbs for the treatment of conditions

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensureoptimal outcomes.

Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and practicesthrough continuous education.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Able to be potentially licensed as an Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Canada

Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese medical terminology and patient carepractices

Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred but notmandatory

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interactwith patients and staff

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for allpatients

 

LANGUAGE:

    English is the primary working language.

    Non-native English speakers must have a CLB 5+ proficiency.

    Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine or related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of clinical practice in TCM, acupuncture, or herbal medicine.
